Brick Festival Builders

Brick Festival Events has been running awesome LEGO themed events since 2018, from a single venue in Milton Keynes, growing to run over 40 shows during 2023, 60 during 2024 and aiming to exceed 100 in 2025. The team behind Brick Festival Events are all passionate LEGO fans and builders, so we fully understand what it takes to create and share these incredible MOC (My Own Creation) builds at events. The biggest challenge currently being faced is access to bricks. Whilst some brick buying opportunities exist, these are usually very limited, with long timelines or quite costly.

Whatever build is being created, the one thing that every single AFOL (Adult Fan of LEGO) builder has in common is that they always need more LEGO bricks. And some of these creations use thousands and thousands of different bricks to bring the models to life.

The LEGO Builder Support Program offers rewards to builders for displaying your MOC builds* at Brick Festival Events. Each event will earn you either £50 in vouchers, or this could be exchanged for a Trader Table (next to your display) to help you move on your unwanted collection.

With so many incredible events to display your builds at, there is a fantastic opportunity to build up a large amount of vouchers over the year. This would give you the ability to buy even more LEGO bricks, whether that be LEGO sets to “part out” and create into something more exciting, or the Pick & Build wall full of inspirational LEGO elements in larger quantities.

Builder Support Program

But the real reward of displaying your LEGO creation is… seeing the reactions of the visitors as they take in your LEGO build for the first time! This feeling is totally priceless and is the reason many builders keep creating and exhibiting builds. So having those builds in front of 1000’ s of members of public AND being given access to the Builder Support program is a huge win for the LEGO building community.

It is so important for us to help AFOLs to realise their building dreams and to help give them access to more bricks in order to build bigger displays. This in turn helps to improve the quality of the MOCs being created in the UK. You may be aware of the big international LEGO events where you see MOCs on display that are on another level. It is time that we helped all AFOLs to be able to build their own dreams and help them take on the challenge of reaching that next level.

The Brick Festival Team are passionate about supporting and developing LEGO builders of all experience levels, and breaking down barriers to ensure these builds are enjoyed by as many people as possible. All Brick Festival events are open to builders of all background and abilities, irrelevant of any current group memberships/associations. Members of all LUGs (LEGO User Groups) are welcome to exhibit their builds, either as an individual or on behalf of their group.

We feel that it is so important to be inclusive of all LUGs and groups within the UK and understand how much support your local group can provide you and your builds. We welcome branding and promotion of LUGs within your displays at the Brick Festival events. This collaborative working can help us all to take that next big step forward in creating more incredible MOCs and bringing them to the public.

Builder Support Program Options

When your builds are accepted for display at a Brick Festival Event you will have a choice of the following rewards within the Builder Support Program:

£50 LEGO Store Vouchers

These can be spent at any LEGO Brand Retail Store or online at LEGO.com. Vouchers will be presented during the event.

£50 Brick Festival Event Vouchers

These can be spent at any Trade Table within the Brick Festival Event. Vouchers will be presented during the event.

Trader Table**

Choose to receive a Trader Table alongside your display instead of a voucher. Ideal for selling unwanted LEGO collections, duplicate sets, trading up etc. These tables are VERY limited and are not guaranteed – if you select this, you must also choose a 2nd option for when all Trader Tables are already allocated. The ONLY way to guarantee a Trader Table is to book through our Exhibitor Shops – Sign Up here to receive emails about availability.
If more Trader Tables are requested than we have available, we will be offering the limited reserve of these table rewards to the displays that best suit the needs of that event. That may be quite different from 1 show to the next. This may also cause a slight delay in these applications being confirmed as those decisions are being considered thoroughly.

Charity Partner Donation

Choose to donate an additional £50 to our official charity partner – the Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity. This will be added to the funds raised from our charity tombola at the end of each event. Funds raised here will be spent directly on specialist nurses for seriously ill children across the UK.

Our LEGO builders not only join our Builder Support Program, but are also provided access to meals and refreshments during the event. All Brick Festival builders also receive our exclusive Brick Festival Lanyards, builder tags and our exclusive printed Event Bricks at every event! These highly sought after Event Bricks are ONLY issued to exhibitors and crew that play a vital role in that event. Check out our builders Event Brick collections that tell you the history of their displays.

If you have a LEGO creation that you would like to be exhibited at a Brick Festival event, applications are open now. Here you’ll also find full details of all upcoming shows offering access to the Builder Support Program.

*to be eligible for the Builder Support Program you must display at least 1 full table of builds.
**the same rules apply for ALL Trader Tables. Click Here for further information on what is allowed to be sold at a Brick Festival Event.
